Product Development Expertise: From Crypto to Data Spaces

Orillia began as a cryptocurrency company in 2013, pioneering Belgium’s first Bitcoin ATM network and online exchange. We designed and built our own ATM machines and Bitcoin mining equipment. In 2017, we created Juru, a data exchange platform focused on secure, consent based data sharing under GDPR, utilizing cryptographic proofs and blockchain validation. Juru was integrated into the Decentralized Identity Foundation and OpenID Foundation, focusing on SSI Identity and zero proof algorithms. These experiences shaped our ability to deliver innovative product solutions and architecture.

Consultancy with a Focus on Product Development

Since 2019, Orillia has excelled as a consultancy firm specializing in product development and architecture. Following the acquisition of our team by Meeco, we transitioned to providing expert consultancy services. From 2018 to 2024, Orillia offered Chief Technology Officer services to Meeco and Atos Belgium, concentrating on Identity, Personal Data Stores, and Data Spaces. Currently, we provide coaching and knowledge services for the Colruyt Group on IT Solution Architecture, demonstrating our commitment to delivering high quality, strategic guidance and hands on support to drive innovation and success for our clients.
